We are a uniquely integrated preschool for children who are 3-5 years old (based on their age on October 1st of each enrolling year).
Class 1: Preschool (Monday & Wednesday)
During this time, we will focus on the building blocks for learning such as fine motor skills, counting, pre-reading skills, and social skills. We will learn simple prayers, sing songs, and read stories about Christ and the saints.
Who: 3’s and young 4’s who are not in their year before kindergarten.
When: Mondays and Wednesdays, 8:15-11:45 a.m.
Cost: $200/month
Class 2: Pre-Kindergarten (Monday-Thursday)
During this time, we will focus more on supporting students academically by focusing on learning letters and their sounds, learning numbers, and practicing early reading, writing, and math skills. Additional emphasis is placed on student’s social skills/problem solving. We will learn prayers, songs, read stories about Christ and the saints, learn the Church Calendar as well as how to practice Christianity.
Who: 4’s and 5’s who may be in their year before kindergarten or may be choosing to attend another year of preschool. UPK funding is available for one year of this class. Click HERE to learn more about Colorado Universal Preschool eligibility requirements.
When: Monday-Thursday, 8:15-11:45 a.m.
Cost: $300/month for part-time (2 days/week, Tuesday and Thursday); $600/month for full-time (all 4 days/week)
Families with more than one child enrolled at Light of Christ Preschool will receive a 10% discount on tuition.
We believe that giving children a consistent daily routine allows them to feel secure and develop a sense of time. A routine allows them to be more responsible, independent, and confident. Each class at Light of Christ Preschool will have a consistent daily routine that will be adapted to fit the interests, goals, and needs of the children.
The daily schedule will include:
- Circle Time/Full Class Instruction
- Spiritual Formation Time
- Prayer
- Small Groups
- Free Choice/Centers Time
- Large Motor (recess/gym activities)
- Storytime
- Cleaning up & Washing hands
- Snack Time
If no openings are available, names will be placed on a waiting list and families will be notified as openings occur.
